If you want to host a small group of family or friends during your Charlotte wedding or elopement in a more home-like environment, the following properties have amenities like hot tubs, full kitchens, multiple bedrooms, and common areas great for groups of 10-15 people.
These are some of my favorite places!

Events can accommodate: <200
Dog friendly: No
Distance to uptown: 20 minute drive

Notes: To book for an event, you cannot book through Airbnb - they have a STRICT guest and event policy for over 6 people, so make sure to be transparent with your plans and book accordingly through their website here.
PERFECT FOR: couples wanting the feel of a private French villa for their wedding.
This mansion can host private parties and getaways of as few as 6, or an entire 200 person wedding from ceremony to reception. They have options for all kinds of events and guest counts, so if you’re in between a smaller wedding (fewer than 50 people) and a more traditional wedding event size (50-100+) the Woodhaven mansion is flexible.

Summary and Tips for choosing an Airbnb for your Charlotte wedding or elopement:
Charlotte has a lot of options for hosting your guests. The best thing is to decide on whether you’re looking for a place which can sleep large groups, or just a few of your VIP guests. It’s also a good idea to check each property’s event policy, and be transparent with your hosts from the very beginning what you plan to do while on the property!
